{the day before the big one}

so tomorrow i'm moving to canberra to start university.

and... i still didn't pack!.. instead i watched my sister's swimming carnival, went to the beach and dran milkshakes, and made myself a new doona cover.

now.. i really must go and pack {and make sure that i put the boxes with clothes in them in the car, not the ones with christmas decorations..}

dinner with friends..

...was lovely. so nice {but also sad!} to catch up before we go our separate ways.

a new plan!

so mum wants a documentary of all the primary schools who teach esperanto around the world... i may make one! have been looking at round-the-world trips after christmas this year... very difficult to get a real quote but it is fun dreaming up fantastic trips.

instead of packing..eee.

i'm going to a farewell dinner tonight {another one! we already had one with my closest friends who have already moved -so sad to imagine how long it may before we are all in one place again- but it will be lovely to see my school friends before they all leave}.

just two more days..

...til moving day.
i did some serious cleaning today, listened to the radio a LOT {love triple j!} and put off packing for as long as i could, but finally got around to making a little pile of clothes to take {after much putting on and taking off.. hard to know what i will need and the car is only small!}
was going to go to the beach this afternoon but it turned cold and overcast so shopped instead, but mostly i'm putting that off til i get to the city where there are more shops.
and, of course, i played with the kittycats..

ok, so it doesn't look all that impressive... but i finally figured out the pattern to use! so hopefully i can make more exciting ones now.

yay.

frustration and lace.

so i got decisive and set on making pretty things for my hair. and then i got even more decisive and decided to drive to town and buy supplies and pick up groceries and take my sister to the beach after school... but after calling the school found out that i couldn't pass on a message to her as i'm not listed in their records {!}.

so. there goes that.

so now i am trying to make this beautiful origami flower out of satin but i just can't figure it out. driving me crazy.

but on the upside, i can now {thanks to the wonders of the internet} make a lotus flower.

but unfortunately not out of satin.

what to do?

i'm procrastinating.

i really don't know how to pack to move house when only semi-moving.. and also knowing i am going to have to fit everything in our tiny car.

so i'm just not doing it.

and i hate my painting i started today and can't decide whether to give up on it or not.

think i may walk my poor bored dog and hope for inspiration.

also today, someone came to look at getting one of our kittens. my kitten, to be exact. i don't want her to go.. i love my little pippi longstocking.

i bought the dvds of season 1 and 2 today so i don't keep using up mum's downloads.. i hope they arrive soon.

..although i don't know if i will want to watch it anymore after dan and serena break up.. i love them.
